Referee Training

Region 390 will host the full day Basic Referee Training course on Saturday, April 17. Training starts promptly at 8:30am at Briarcliff Park in Oak Ridge (100 Deerfield Lane). We expect to be finished by 5:00pm. Training will involve field work (wear appropriate clothes/shoes), some outdoor "classroom" work, and administration of the AYSO Regional Referee exam. Training is open to adults and youth at least 12 years old. To earn the referee certification, participants must be registered as an AYSO volunteer and enrolled for this training course, have passed AYSO Safe Haven, attend the entire training and pass the Regional Referee exam.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all training will be outdoors, and participants and instructors will be expected to wear masks and maintain social distance.
